Raymond Aborn

Raymond Aborn (b. 1977) was born in Salem, New Jersey. He started creating art in middle school and began working with Creative Vision Factory in 2011. Aborn states that his passion for creating art stems from how he has always been good with his hands and describes his development as an artist as “like a rocket”. Aborn works with clay to create ceramic sculptures and pottery. His accordion-style sculptures appear to defy gravity and his brilliant choice in color combinations adds to the vibrancy of his pieces. Aborn believes that he would not be making art today without Creative Vision Factory and is grateful for the inspiration that he has gained from fellow CVF artists like Ken Segal.
